good Gravy - Put it in a Pie Dish with mashed Potatoes on the top. Bake for 1/2 an hour or more. Lady F. [Last Name?] Roman Pie Boil 2 Rabbits, or Chicken, cut off all the meat as thin as possible - 2 oz Maccaroni boiled very tender, merely stirred with an Onion or Leek, a little Salt, 1/2 Pint of Cream, line a Dish with Paste & fill with the above Ingredients. Cover the Pie & bake for an hour. It should be eaten cold & garnish with Aspic Jelly. Lady F. May/[77?] Potatoe Cake. Grate large white Potatoes, add some Eggs, some grated Onions, some sour Cream or but Milk. The whole must not be [lad?] stiff - Put some Lard or Beef Grease, (Dripping) in a flat Pan. When it is boiling put a Spoonful of the Mixture & fry it very much, both sides. like a small Pancake.
