Lemon Cheesecakes Boil one lemon [illegible] hour or till tender beat it then [illegible] in a wooden bowl to get out the juice then add 1/2 lb sifted sugar 1/4 lb Butter & 4 Eggs well beaten - Line the [illegible] with puff paste & half [illegible] with the mixture. Bake in a moderate oven Chirk Castle [Magregor?] [Thedgeree?] Boil [illegible] a [illegible] teacupful of Rice. [illegible] it Take some Haddock or any fish that has been cooked apat of Butter - half a gill of Cream a teaspoonful of [Cherry?] Powder & some hard boiled Eggs. Put them into a Stew pan Cut up & mix together - Serve hot Chirk Castle [Magregor?]
