March [illegible] [illegible] Soup Mrs Stewert Have some good clear stock ready cut some vegetables into small dice and spoonfull in butter Put the vegetables into the stock about 10 minutes before serving at table so as to drain off the butter. Immediately before the soup is eaten this [illegible] croutons of bread into it that have been well dried in the sun. [illegible] [China?] de Parmesan (cold) Whipped cream with alittle Parmesan Cheese grated as finely as you can Whipped into the Cream.
