[illegible] Cold in the Head 30 drops of Sal-[illegible] in a small wine glassful of warm water 5 or 6 times a day. Hooping Cough Equal parts of oil of Amber [Laudamum?] & Spirits of Hartsholm, till mixed together. The [illegible] & Soles of the feet to be rubbed by the fire every night before going to bed. Cough of [illegible] 2 oz lard. 1 oz [cauphol?] Put the lard in a small pot in a saucepan + melt it over the fire, then add the [cauphol?] having [illegible] [illegible] it + this till it is well mixed. Hair [illegible] 2 oz lard 1/2 oz of caster oil, 1/2 a small [illegible] of [beet?] bit of [olives?], [1 ditto?] of [Bergauest?] or [illegible] of [Roses?].
