X [underlined]"Honey Poultice"[/underlined] One Tablespoonful of Honey. 1 Ditto [ditto for Tablespoonful of] Hog's Lard first melt them together then take it off the fire, Put into it the yolk of an egg. Stir it well together, & after it is Mixed Put in one Tablespoonful of fine flour, Stirring it till no appearance of flour remains then put it on the fire to [illegible], but not to make hot, stir it well, whilst it is on the fire & until it is put into the hot for use. When it is used spread it the thickness of a Crown Piece on the Linen & change it twice a day till it has drawn all the matter out, when it begins to heal once a day will be sufficient to change it. If the [illegible} is too sharp for the wound put a piece of lint thick [with?] [illegible] its giving pain, & on that leg the [plaister?]
