How to put on Leeches Be sure the Leeches are lively and hungry, sponge the place well with warm water, dab it with a [illegible] Milk and water, hold the leech in your finger, it will drop off when it has sucked enough, But if the patient gets faint put a tiny pinch of salt on the head of each. The moment they have all come off, put a large bread water Poultice over the leech sites, it will make them bleed freely and prevent festering To put on a Blister Drop a few drops of Vinegar into the centre and work it with your fingers. then put it on the part that requires drawing - it will drop off when it has drawn sufficiently. If there is any skin hanging loose take a pair of fine-pointed scissors and snip it. placing first a soft rag on the [illegible] Blister.
