Tops and Bottom's for Children's Food Scald one or two (for a Boute) and heat them up in a Basin. Then thin them with Milk "* Continuation of Chelsea Pensioner's Recipe") when in bed take 1/2 Pint of any warm liquid. Gruel or Wine and water ec. Repeat the Dose in the Morning without the drink. Continue this 3, 4, or 6 days. Should the medecine produce Diarrhoea; or great Irritation on the skin omit the warm drink and lessen the dose. Avoid Cold and if there be fever no Wine Must be taken. [Illegible] for every Breakage Equal quantities of Gum Arabic and Green Mastic and a third part of Lump Sugar.
