59 Portugal Cake - One and a quarter pounds of flour - one pound of butter - beaten to a cream - one pound of sugar - six eggs leaving out two whites - currants if you like, one ounce - mix the butter and sugar together - then the eggs and last the flour - sift a little sugar over them - thirteen minutes will bake them in small pans -
