East Vincent March 17th 56 Dear Brothers Thinking that it would not be with while to write on excepted letter because news in this section is very interesting, I will trie & glean up a few remarks for the present. I rec., those newspapers a few days ago & welcome they where to us all - as their is a great move for the West in almost everybody mouth, it must undoubly come to bear as Washington said in his life that the beautiful valleys of the "West" must & will some future day containg four or five million people this is a proverb in reality. Last Monday Joseph mowrer was to see us, & we tried to persuade him to go along with us but he object very much, but add that he will be out this spring a year, we intend to have him as a carpenter & he also has a little money but he think not just now he will wait little, he was out about two year ago as for (Corledo) Enod is agoing to start for the West in the spring; Now I will only add that we would like to buy wood lands first & then (Uncle Sam) then land if it can be had anywhere in vicinety, but keep this to your-selves (this is mama notion) It is singular although it is a fact that I am very frequenty taken for over John Rulp the rogue circulate or rather gossip it about that william has come home, & blackleg is neccessary for him Write soon, if this reaches you within ten day of the seven of April then transmits us a let your Brother [Nalz H.?] Mow
