45 Black Currant Cake for Coughs To 1 Mutchkin of Juice a quarter pound of Sugar - long boiled - and turned out on plates to dry - cut in pieces and put in Boxes for use - Veal Risoles - by Mrs Cary Half a pound of veal half a pound of Beef Suet; two Eggs a little white wine season with Salt Cinnamon & a little Shalotte or Ham if you please - roll them the size and Shape you choose, dip them in yolk of Egg and roll them in Bread Crumbs - fry them a light Brown & dry - To dress Cheese - Mrs Cary Cut some mild Cheese very thin dissolve but not Boil) it in a little milk beat up an Egg and mix with it while warm then toast it before the fire - French pancakes - ditto 2 Spoonfuls of Flour 6 Eggs the whites beat with a [Knife?] on a large flat dish, to a Snow - and not mixed with the Batter, till the moment you Fry them 1 Mutchkin of Cream or good milk the Rind of a Lemon grated and a little
