Tincture of Myrrh by [Landle?] [Dun?] 165 Myrrh 3 Ounces Alcohol 1 1/4 Mutchkin - Water half a Mutchkin - For a Cough - from Miss [Brown?] 1/2 a pound of Treacle 1 Gill of Vinigar and 2 teaspoonfuls of best Laudanum well incorporated - a Desert spoonful to be taken Morning and Evening or a Teaspoonful any time the Cough is troublesome - Artificial Harrowgate Water by Dr [Wal?] 1/4 Ounce Epsom Salts dissolved in a tumbler of weak Peppermint Water. It may be taken 3 times and continued a month at least - For the Hooping Cough - Dissolve a Scruple of Salt of Tartar in a Gill of water and ten grams of Cochineal finely powdered - sweeten this and give to an Infant the fourth part of a Table Spoonful four times a day from six years upwards a Spoonful may be taken at once - Mrs Taylor [illegible]
