Farm house pudding Miss S Groves Potato Pudding 3 lbs: of Potatoes cut into 3 or 4 peaces each. 3 oz: of Beef suit shred small. 4 oz of Grits with a little salt. Mix these ingredients well together. tie them in a Bag and boil them with the meat you have for dinner. N.B. a little onion may be added if agreeable another Potatoe Pudding 1 lb. of Potatoes Pared Weighed and cut in Slices. One large onion or two small ones cut in slices 1 oz. of suit cut fine one oz. of Embden Groats. Tied up in a Cloth and boiled two hours with the Beef. then take it up and heat it very smooth and add to it a little salt pepper and a Peace of butter tie it up again and put it in the Pot till served for dinner. it must be sent to Table very hot or cold suit is very disagreeable
