It is time that some contracts for ties should be made if the work is pushed this season - I hope you have made some arrangement for the Kianizing process, this is all important as Cottonwood is our main reliance - Williams is here and would like some work - Carter is here and intends spending some time, has as yet hardly put his nose out of doors, it being so cold and stormy. I will send my vouchers to Mr Henry until further orders. I am getting up a general Rail Road Law partly from the Ohio and partly from the Iowa statutes leaving out the objectionable parts of both and recognising specially the Pacific Road as a corporation existing under the laws of the United States in Nebraska and thereby entitled to all the privileges and benefits of the Act. This I think will save any incorporation under the laws of the Territory - Truly Yours Peter A. Dey
