Omaha Dec 25th 1863 T.C. Durant Esq Dear Sir The Span Bridges that will be required on the first Hundred miles of the Pacific Road are the following - Little Pappilon Bridge 100 ft span } Big Pappilon " 150 " " } Elkhorn River " 150 " " } 1 Span Shell Creek " 80 " " } Loup Fork " 7 spans of 150 feet The balance of the Bridging will be either Stone culverts the material for which can be obtained at several points along the route or Trestle work for which Timber can be obtained by long haulage here, and at Bellvue. Boomer is arranging to put up a wagon road Bridge across the Loup Fork which he intends finishing by the first of June - I have thought that
