South Boulder November 21st 1864 Mr Case Dear Sir Since I last seen you I have had an extensive tour in the mountains according to my conseption of the matter their is no doubt but you can git as good a rout for a Railroad as you want from two points in this Territory one is up the big Laramie through North Park cross Rabbit ear Pass this is a fine Pass no tunnel is required on that Pass the other is the Brekinridg Pass down Swan river take [Rite?] trail on to head of Snake River
