F.M. Case & M.M. Curtis Nov 21 1864 from the plain of the South Park- The "Rabbit Ear" Pass I have heard of before - but did not know of any Eastern approach - If it could be approached by the Cache La Poudre - and you could find a pass through the Wasatch Range - I have little doubt that the route would pass through a fine country between "Rabbit Ears" & the Wasatch Range I give you the original for what it is worth Yours truly F.M.
