Omaha N.Ty Jany 1. 1865 Peter A Dey Esq. Engr in Chf. U.P.R.R. New York Dr Sir I came back from Lewis yesterday and found that Mr Schimansky had not been able to copy the map of Colorado - (He has lost both of his little boys the Eldest died Saturday morning) Thinking you would want the map at the meeting of the Directors I have copied it myself. Am sorry Mr. S. could not have copied it, for I dont consider mapping especially mountain topography my forte - If you will send to Jacob Monk Lithographer Phila. I think you will be able to get the "Gilpin Map" of Colorado. Very truly yours &c Francis M. Case
