Iowa City April 15th 65 T.C. Durant Esq Dear Sir Your order directing me to report at your office for the adjustment of accounts between the Union Pacific Rail Road Company and myself is received. Nearly four months since I returned my vouchers and balance sheet to the office carried out in a manner to be readily understood, and if there is anything not clear, think it may readily be explained by letter. I do not feel that I can afford either the time or the cost of a trip to New York for the purpose of looking over those accounts again - If however you think it absolutely neccessary and will write me to that effect I will come down as soon as I can -
