Mr Henry tells me that the houses he is putting up are as large as your contract calls for which is true, and I suppose honestly believes they are large enough forgetting that the experience acquired in the last fifteen years in operating Rail Roads has materially changed many of John B. Jervis original plans, excellent though they might have been at the time. The right of way cases although settled with one exception require the payment of a small amount of money which Mr Henry says he is not authorised to pay. this has prevented our laying any more track.
