Iowa City May 3rd 1862 T.C. Durant Esq Dear Sir Will you have the kindness to send me the voucher and report of Price and Grinnell which I forwarded you last fall. I can use it as collateral Security provided I can get the Board of Directors to agree to pay it at the annual meeting. I would prefer the original to a copy - Respectfully Yours Peter A. Dey
