Iowa City June 4th 1862 T.C. Durant Esq Dear Sir I am unable to find the charter of the Platte Valley and Pacific Rail Road Company. In moving the office last winter I burned a large amount of old papers and think this was among them. I send you a proxy and a sort of time table that Mr Cook made for me to run by - Dr Lowe will probably furnish all the information that you require - Respectfully Yours Peter A. Dey
