Iowa City February 14th 1863 T.C. Durant Esq Dear Sir I send you Estimate and profile of the South line from Grinnell west. I think in making final location some changes may be made that will reduce the cost some what - I am satisfied that the north line can not be improved. The work is heavy and if you intend putting it under contract this Spring I should like to know in time to give it a thorough Examination Respectfully Yours Peter A. Dey
