Iowa City July 21st 1863 T.C. Durant Esq Dear Sir Your note of July 1st informing me that the Executive Committee had passed a resolution giving me $600 in addition to the amount already received for the year ending June 30th 1863 was duly received. I wrote you immediately asking on whom I should draw for that amount or how I should avail myself of it; not having received an answer I presume the letter did not reach you - please furnish me the information at your earliest convenience and oblige Yours Truly Peter A. Dey
