thing is all over, and they are welcome to the floor if they can get it - They are in a perfect flutter to-night and want us to [neouage?] someway to get it up again - [Ashmau?] & myself both tell no, "You are not to be trusted" and we are going to stay & see it out and play the same game on them that they have been playing - Well, you ask what can be done - I will tell you I have [Dick?] Richardson of Ill now [illegible] [homefed?] into he work, and he swears the Bill shall [foap?], and that Minnesota shout - This plan is to get the [illegible] Bill out of the way to-morrow and [illegible] day, and on Monday get up our Bill and put it through This can be done, for when Old [Dick?] [talked?] a thing in earnest he is found to win - [We?] & [Ashmau?] breakfast with [illegible] Sunday morning, and
