of a special dispatch -- I think the whole thing will [fail?] in the House, create a [quorel?] among the patriots of that pur body, and thereby kill off the Minisota Bill, and Mata, [pet?] Des Monies grant -- I have got Jones + Harlan up to [some?] heat on the Des Monies, and they both agree with me that it had better be laid over until next session - On the whole I am heartily sick of these hounds, and only stay now to present mischief -- If we undertake any thing next session we must gix up before hand, and throw such men as Chase + the small fry overboard, and reach our object through more reliable channels I shall try + leave here Saturday morning, on the evening of that day certain, and you must meet me at the St. Nicholas Sunday, as I shall start from there west Sunday evening
