Albany March 4th 1856 T.C Durant Esqr Sir Yours of yesterday is to hand send me Note for 5000 Dolls blank date. I have one for that amt now but if you will send another I will try and send Farnam 10.000 Dolls this week. I did not trouble myself about the estimates as I heard Mr Sheffield say that some person on Wall Street offered him to get what currency was wanted to send out to Iowa at 6% [to?] you to allow him 1/4
