Albany March 29 1856 TC Durant Esqr Sir Yours of yesterday is to hand. I have agreed to take 10.000 Dolls currency of the Merchants Bank & you may send me the note by return mail & date it the 1st Apl. I have a note of 5.000 Dolls Blank date which I will send Currency for from Troy or Albany & you had better get 5000 from [illegible] which makes what you want for this estimate. try and get the Danish Bry business forever closed up Yours &c C.W.
