Albany April 2d 1856 T.C. Durant Esqr Sir Your Note for 10.000 Dollars was duly received and I got it discounted at the Merchants Bank and the currency will be sent H Farnam today or tomorrow. The $5.000 note blank date which I have had for some time I used today and sent the currency H Farnam from the Troy City Bank You can enter on your Bill book Apl 2 [cu?] [illegible] 5.000= You can [charge?] & advise Farnam of the above amounts Yours &c C.W.
