Albany May 30th 1856 TC. Durant Sir I had a letter from Tracy in relation to the car wheels They are ready mostly and if we ship by way of Buffalo cannot do any thing for two or three weeks or untill Buffalo Boats turn again if by way of Oswego, can ship at any time. I wish Mr Jones would call on [Brennan?] & Crocker and Littlejohn tomorrow & see what they will take theirs for [illegible] from Albany to Chicago for cash or stock and let me know. Chase [illegible] [over?] Buffalo $5 3/4 Oswego is quite as reliable [illegible] [may?] this [year?] get their proposition. Enclosed find Smiths Note [also?] is against Frank Sleight to collect CW Durant
