of the Lake navigation to be at the risk of the party of the second part It is understood and agreed that if the party of the first part fail to carry forward the Iron promptly and without delay on the way (the whole to be shipped from this port on or before the first of October proximo) then the party of the second part by their authorized agents shall have the priviledge of shipping said Iron so delayed by River Canal and sail in the Lakes at the expense of the party of the first part In witness whereof of these presents the parties by their respective agents have hereunto subscribed their names this 18 day of September 1854.
