Albany Jany 23d/59 H.C. Crane Eqr. Dear Sir Yours of yesterday recd. Has the Doct made any provisions for the note of 10.00 Dolls due 30th inst? If not I will see what I can do for it here. let me know at once, did the Doct leave orders to have rest of the [Iowa?] [illegible] Bonds sold; say to Mr [illegible] if in NY that I did not get his dispatch in time to meet him at the cars & let Me know if he is in NY & how long he will remain there? I cant go down until I hear from you & can arrange for the 10.000 Doll note due 30th inst as there is no prospect of getting anything for the Iron at present I will make
