Iowa City July 29th 57 H Crane Esq Dear Sir About the first of July I sent the [last?] 8 M & M coupons, and told him to get the money and give me credit on your books up to this time I have not heard from them. I wish you would look on your Books and see if I am credited with the [assets?]. Also about the first of July Father sent him $2000 to be placed to my credit please see if this is also to my credit and let me know, alls well At this time we are living on broiled Taiwan chicken and quail [illegible] and good Yours truly W F Durant
