Book No. 46 page 153. This Indenture, Made this Nineteenth day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and Seventy-five Between Henry C Crane Trustee of the City of Yonkers, County of Westchester State of New York, party of the first part and Heloise H. Durant of the City County and State of New York party of the second part. Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part in consideration of the sum of One dollar to him duly paid before the delivery hereof has bargained and sold and By these Presents, do grant and convey to the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land situate in the town of Johnsburgh, described as follows, Being a part of Lot No two in the Gove between township Twelve and Fourteen in [Tatten?] and Crossfields purchase commencing at a corner standing on the line between the land formerly of Milton Sawyer and Thomas C. Durant south sixty four (64) degrees east from the southeast corner of the underpinning of the North Creek House, erected in Eighteen hundred and seventy-one and runs from thence south forty one and one half (41 1/2) degrees east five chains (5) thence south forty nine degrees east to the north side the stream known and distinguished as North Creek, thence down the North side of said Creek to the north River
