And whereas the said Thomas C. Durant has heretofore by an instrument in writing dated August 12th 1874 assigned and transferred his said claims, demands and causes of action against the said persons and corporations above specified to me Heloise H. Durant, as security for certain sums of money advanced by me to him: Now therefore know all men by these presents, that I, Heloise H. Durant in consideration of the sum of one dollar to me in hand paid, have bargained, sold, assigned, transferred, and set over, and by these presents do bargain, sell, assign, transfer, and set over unto James M. Hain, all and singular, my right, title, and interest of, in, and to any moneys due or owing, or which shall become due or owing to the said Thomas C. Durant, or to me as his assignee, or otherwise from the said Sidney Dillon, Cornelius S. Bushnell, Henry S. McComb, Fred L. Ames, or F. Gordon Dexter their heirs, executors, administrators, successors, or assigns, or the estates of the said Oliver Ames, Benjamin E. Bates, or John Duff, or from the said Union Pacific Railroad Company, or from the said Credit Mobilier of America, and all right and title to claim or demand any
