Schedule A. Isaac P. Hazard et al. vs. T.C. Durant et al. [illegible] 1 and 2 Memorandum of Agreement entered [into?] at Boston, Mass. This 28th day of September. [As?] 1840 by and [Father?] [Prisland?] Of Hazard for Isaac P. Hazard and other of the State of Rhode Island and Thomas C. Durant of the State of [illegible]. It is agreed by and between said parties that the Union Pacific R.R.C., may have for any and all [stock?] standing on their Books in the name of said Durant without liability for violating the injunction obtained to preclude the same but the said Durant shall not be relieved from any of his liabilities under same injunction or for any branch thereof except in fulfilment of the agreement of which Sidney Bartlett Esq. [illegible] [illegible] a memorandum and the said Durant agrees that he will not make any claims upon the said R.G. Hazard or any of the parties who have been admitted or have applied to be admitted or who shall be admitted as parties [illegible] in cash or other of said suits for any [seal?] or alleged damage [illegible] out of any [illegible] or pro-ceeding of any kind in said suits or in connection therewith, (signed) In presence of Sidney Dillon Tho.
