The Credit Mobilier of America, Royal E. Robbins, Ezra H. Baker, Frederick L. Ames, Theophilus E. Sickles, Paul Pohl, Charles M. [Ghriskey?], Francis H. Janvier, impleaded with The Union Pacific Railway Co. In consideration of the sum of Dollars this day received from the defendants above mentioned, in full settlement and compromise of the causes of action, and each and all of them, in each of the said suits above entitled full payment and satisfaction of each and every of the causes of action is hereby acknowledged to have been received. This agreement and stipulation, however, is not to include unadjusted claims of Thomas C. Durant for salary and disbursements, as claimed by said Durant in the suit now pending in the United States Circuit Court for Iowa, against the Credit Mobilier, which is excepted out of this settlement; but all other causes of [action?] and complaint against the defendants in the above entitled suits, except the Union Pacific Ry. Co. are embraced
