taken the following voted aye Ames Durant Dillon Duff Bates Bushnell carried On motion of Mr Dillon the matter of J J Cisco [illegible] is referred to Messer Bates & Ames, and also the matter of 240 shs of stock due TC Durant be referred to same gentlemen for settlement The chairman read communication from Emott Hammond & Stickney in relation to the expenses in the Fiske & Pollard suits against the Union Pacific RR Co and others - and in motion it was Resolved that the expense be paid one half by the Trustees and one half by the Union Pacific RR Co from and after this date Aye & nay vote being taken the following voted Aye Ames Durant Dillon Duff Bates Bushnell - carried Mr Durant offered resolution that the Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer be and is authorized to pay the salaries according to the above Resolution
