Pittsburgh, Cincinnati & St. Louis Railway Co., Columbus, Chicago & Indiana Central Division, Solicitor's Office. Chicago, 187 T. C. Durant Esq Dear Sir Enclosed I send you copy of Letter from Woolworth = W F Durant Esq Dear Sir I informed you some time ago that the Referree awarded $65,000 against the Trustees. My advice has been to apply this sum in discharging all remaining liens & completing [illegible] of [this?] whereby we will become entitled to $104,000 more. But Davis declines to follow this advice & will appeal from the report. Bell ought to insist upon the payment of the money by the Trustees & its application or the application of as much as is necessary as I have stated. But I understand he will do nothing = Yours truly J. M. Woolworth
