me at this time; I had just bot a House which I should not have done if I had known there was troubles ahead but should have kept myself in shape so that they could not have hurt me - but I expect to lose it - Return Davis Letter to me - there is no one but Davis - Sprague & Gessner that knows any thing about the business & they know but little about it - it is a mixed up thing and the sooner settled the better - Yours truly WFD
