Durant Dear Sir As I learn to-day Judge Potter has again & very lately announced from the bench that he will take no part in the decision of Hazzards case; and he also refuses to aid the other judges on any information as to facts or points; and Judge Matthew, for one, is at work on the long papers in order to understand the history of the litigation This is supposed to have some connection with the quarrel between Potter & Hazard, which has grown into an open newspaper controversy.
