Providence RI March 22 1878 My dear Sir I have your favor of 21st and shall forward a copy to Col Honey. Since I came into the case, with Col H we have had a long & dirty fight over the right to be heard which is now granted in as good a form as we could desire. I am glad to hear that Mr D will now give prompt attention to the case, for thus far it has not been our duty (I refer to Col H & myself) to look carefully into the merits of the case.
