Amos Stailey-Young Int. no. 47: Did this money you paid Mr. Green even appear on the books in any shape, form or manner? Ans no. 47: I cannot tell you. Int. no. 48: So far as you know. Ans. no. 48: It is quite likely it did appear in some shape: at all events it was reported to the Board. I looked to somebody to repay me. and I got it back some how but, I don't remember how. Int. no. 49: When did you get it back? Ans. no. 49: A long time ago, about the time the reports were made: I cannot fix the exact time. Int. no. 50: Did you get any of it back before? Ans. no. 50: No Sir. not that I recollect. I might have gotten some back. It is a subject I dismissed from my mind log ago. and this is altogether sudden and unexpected. Int. No 51: Is that all you know personally in regard to the payments to this Mr. Green? Ans. No. 51: Yes Sir. that is all I know about it personally. In the course of the efforts to obtain the charter and subsequent to the obtaining of the charter, a large expenditure was made by me personally, but to what extent and to what amount
