I do not recollect, I know that in some way or another, I got it back. Int. No. 52 It was several hundred dollars? Ans. No. 52 Except one not of Mr. Green, that I still hold, and some drafts that he gave me on his son, who then resided in Dalton, Georgia. Those drafts were pretected, and never paid. Int. no. 53 So far as your personal knowledge goes, do you know anything more about money paid to Green? Ans. no. 53 I do not know. Int. No. 54 Was anybody else employed similarly with Mr. Green? Ans. No. 54 There was a great deal of money used at Harrisbury, I think. Int. No. 55 You have no personal knowledge how it was paid or that it was used? Ans. no. 55 No Sir. I dont know that it was. In looking over those accounts , i do not think the dates of the items are any indication when they were presented to the Board. Int. No. 56 Isnt it a fact that your first transaction with Mr. George T Train was in 1863 instead of 1864? Ans. No. 56 I really cannot tell you.
