A. I don't recollect. I received some in N.Y and some bonds I think in Washington. 378 - Q. Are the bonds referred to in this examination the bonds you hold as collateral or the bonds you held after the final settlement? A. Those are the bonds I held before the final settlement. I held them as collateral with authority to dispose of them. 379 - Q. Now I will ask you if in this case entitled "Jos B Stewart the appellant against the Union Pacific R. R. Co E.D." you didn't testify that Stewart ad 250 thousand of these bonds. A. Stewart or his orders. I don't know as Stewart had them himself. 380 - Q. Stewart or his orders had? A. They were delivered on his order whether they were delivered back by him personally or not I don't know. 381 - Q. Do you know that they were? Have you any reason to suppose that they were delivered back-- Witness. Delivered back to whom? To the Company? 382 - Q. [So?] Jn. Stewart them from you didn't he? A.
