A. I think he [?] the draft. I think that this draft was drawn by himself [illegible]
437 - Q. On whom
A. I don't know whether on me or the Company.
438 - Q. It was on you or on the Union Pacific one or the other A. Yes sir
439 - Q. For what? 
A. I don't know for what.
440 - Q. Was there more than one of those drafts?
A. I don't recollect.
441 - Q. You recollect one A. Yes sir.
442 - Q. What was that amount for?
A. I don't recollect.

A. I paid it because I was instructed to.

A. By the Committee; and it had the same [illegible] Stuart
