Contract printed this assuming [?] with your other contract as the contract referred to in your affidavit as I have printed out it. A. Well this contract is dated. My contract is dated February 3d/66 This contract which you ask me refer to, is dated subsequently and is probably a modification or something of the kind when my contract had been made. I don't know that. It could not be Halletts original Contract.That was Feb 3 1864 The other was Feb 13 1864. Mr Peckham. There is a discrepancy in the dates but the contracts are the same. Witness. The contracts are not the same. That is a modification of the contract which Mr Hallett made afterwards. 506 - Q. Have you the first contract with the Company? A. I have n't 507 - Q. Have you this one? A. I don't know whether I have or not. I will look for it. I shall be very likely I have a printed copy of the other.
