P. all they had paid Hoxie the Credit Mobilier interest as between themselves and the Union P. R, R Co. commenced with the beginning of the Hoxie contract. That is the Credit Mobilier paid Hoxie so much for work done assumed to settle with Union Pacific for the whole amount from the commencement.

366 Ans = I could not tell all the parties now, but from the best of my recollection I think ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ brought claims against the Union Pacific Rail Road Company that were floating about and offered for sale - These claims were the obligations of the Company to deliver bonds as the work progressed.
