Ans. No. 13 Certainly; after they came back from the bank.
Int. No. 14 Where are the vouchers you speak of?
Ans. No. 14 They are in the files of the Company I suppose, in Boston; I don't know anything about that.
Int. No. 15 With what persons did you carry on this transaction?
Ans No. 15 I dont know; I cannot answer that; all I know is, that the vouchers were presented to me; it was required by the by-laws that two members of executive committee should sign and approve of any vouchers before it was paid; without the approval I would not have drawn the checks and presented them to Mr Cisco, and he signed them as Treasurer. If the vouchers came with the approval of members of the executive Committee it was my duty to pay them.
