the amount of Storage due by the company on the Iron borrowed by us; & also that you then pay us in cash, any balance that may be ascertained to be due to us by the Company, after crediting them with the above named payments. It is understood that the difference of Duty above named is to be a distinct charge to the account, as the Duty on the Iron borrowed by us was paid or assumed by us, & no charge of Duty has been made to the Rail Road Company, as the original contract anticipated that the company was to enter the Iron & pay the Duty themselves.
