New York June 18th 1855. Received from Thos. C. Durant, and Henry Farnam Esq, the notes of Henry Farnam favor of T.C. Durant as follow.
dated Apl. 11/55 a 5 mo/d for $15.000.

                                 [total] $59.200. (fifty nine thousand and two hundred Dollars;) together with certificate No 1306. for 200 shares Stock Chicago & Rock Island RR Co, & Certificate No 1308 for 195 shares Stock of same Co. & certificate No 1309 for 195 shares Stock of same Co. & certificate No 1307 for 200 Shares Stock of same Co: as collateral security for above notes respectively; said notes being on account of balance due us by the Mississippi & Missouri Rail Road Co.
